About

Hi! I'm Mingyu Wang.
I'm a Researcher, Civil Engineer, and AI Explorer who aspires to become an Educator and a Builder of Smarter Infrastructures.

I am currently a doctoral student at the School of Civil Engineering, Southeast University. I am dedicated to empowering intelligent sensing and resilience of civil infrastructure through physics-data dual-drive fusion.

Feel free to drop me an email for collaboration.

Research Interests

  • Finite Element Method (FEM) “Foundation”
Generating the rigorous ground truth rooted in classical mechanics, serving as the essential reliable baseline for model training and validation.
  • Physics-Informed AI “Strategy”
A dual-drive strategy that embeds physical laws (PDEs) into neural networks, ensuring AI predictions are not just fast, but physically consistent.
  • Neural Operators “Technique”
Mastering operator learning architectures (DeepONet/FNO) to bypass iterative solvers, accelerating simulations from hours to milliseconds.
  • Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) “Application”
Deploying smart algorithms on railway/ocean structures to translate massive sensor data into real-time actionable health diagnostics.
